Artifacts

The Artifacts screen, opened from the navigation bar, lists every artifact you can read, across all projects. It shows the same columns and filters as a project's, environment's or asset's Artifacts tab, with a Target column added.

Choosing a location

The three pickers above the filters narrow the list to one place in the project hierarchy:

  1. Pick a project, or leave All projects to list artifacts from every project.
  2. (Optional) Pick an environment in that project. No environment keeps the whole project.
  3. (Optional) Pick an asset. With no environment picked, the asset picker lists the project's own assets.

The list then shows the artifacts stored against the location you picked and everything beneath it. Picking a project, for example, includes the artifacts of its environments and assets. The location is held in the page URL, so the view can be bookmarked or sent to someone else.

Artifact columns

Each row is one artifact code, showing its latest version:

ColumnDescription
CodeThe artifact's code. Select it to open the artifact's versions page.
TargetThe project, environment or asset the artifact is stored against. The nearest one is named first, with its parents beneath it; hover over it to see the full trail. Select it to open that location's Artifacts tab.
Latest fileThe file name of the newest version.
SizeThe size of that file.
LabelsThe labels on that version.
SourceThe change step that stored the version, or the user who uploaded it.
UpdatedWhen the newest version was stored.
VersionsHow many versions the artifact has.

Each row also has buttons to preview a text file, download the latest version, copy a link to the artifact's versions and open its history. The list loads more rows as you scroll.

The search box, the User, Source and Updated filters, the advanced filters under More and the column sorting work as they do on the Artifacts tab - see filtering and sorting artifacts. The location, search, filters and sort are all kept in the page URL.

Uploading an artifact

Upload artifact, shown only if you have permission to upload artifacts, opens the same dialog as on the Artifacts tab - see uploading an artifact - with an extra Upload to field for choosing the project, and optionally an environment or asset within it, that the artifact belongs to. It starts at the location picked for the list, or at the first project when none is picked. If the artifact is uploaded somewhere outside the location being listed, the list moves to the upload's location so the new artifact is shown.
